Support ODD Gallery & KIAC Artist in Residence Programming

How does a contemporary art gallery and artist residency find roots and thrive when it’s less than 400 kilometres from the Arctic Circle? It might seem impossible, but the Klondike has always been a magnet for dreamers and the arts scene in Dawson City is no exception. For more than a decade, the ODD Gallery and its companion artist residency program have flourished as a lively conduit for ideas and creativity to flow between this remote, northern town and the rest of Canada (and beyond).

Since 2000, the ODD Gallery has presented well over 100 exhibitions by contemporary visual artists, and the residence has welcomed over 200 artists from across Canada and beyond. The audience for gallery and residence programming each year is 3 times the population of Dawson City!

There’s no shortage in passion and just a bit of a shortage in budget….
