TAKING ACTION IN THE DIGITAL WORLD
with Inga Petri of Strategic Moves
Build a powerful web presence for 2020!
The Yukon is taking part in a national project, Making Tomorrow Better: Taking Action in the Digital World. This initiative brings practical digital know-how to participants through custom workshops, online how-to tutorials and ongoing information-sharing. You will learn how to assess your real digital footprint and how to use digital tools and methods to best effect.

Maintaining Respectful Workplaces in the Arts
with Dr. Terri-Lynn Brennan, Inter-Cultural Planner, Inclusive Voices Inc.
Canada Council and Cultural Human Resources Council has engaged professional HR experts from different disciplines to develop and deliver workshops on Maintaining Respectful Workplaces. Since the trainers come from different parts of the country and the sector, they bring specific expertise and knowledge to these offerings.
The workshops will be 3 hours in length and adapted to the audience, whether they be employers, workers, artists or a mixed group of 12 – 24 participants.

Payment is required to reserve your spot.
Drop-in classes do not require advance registration. Simply show up the day of! First come, first served.
The Education and Outreach Committee is seeking committee members!
Committee members are involved in helping sustain active arts programming that reflect the community’s interests and act as both a community voice and advocate of the programming. Members will also review workshop proposals, Confluence at the SOVA Gallery exhibition proposals and Youth Art Enrichment instructor applications.
