Arts, Culture, and Music at Dënäkär Zho in Dawson City, Yukon
Big Rock Candy Mountain is an artist-run flavor incubator and taste-making think-tank initiated by Hannah Jickling and Reed H. Reed. Several local guests – alongside the Grade 5 + 6 students from Robert Service School/ Hätrʼunohtän zho – have contributed to the development of this exhibition and related programming.
Sept 4 – Dec 20 — Liz Charters works in sculpture and installation, through the combined media of light, text and video. While in Dawson City, Liz hopes to connect the ways in which light defines our experience of place and time to their own experience of chronic illness and disability.
