Youth Art Enrichment 2020
Entering it’s 19th year, Youth Art Enrichment is an annual four-day art program for Yukon youth hosted by the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture in Dawson City. Artistically-inclined youth ages 14 – 18 travel from across the Yukon to take part in intensive workshops led by professional artists. The upcoming program will take place March 23 – 26, with a day of travel on either side for youth from outside of Dawson City.
The deadline to apply is February 15th!
Improv Comedy Workshop and Performance: Jan 17 / 18
Becky Johnson of the Sufferettes and writer for Baroness von Sketch Show returns to the Yukon, this time accompanied by Taz VanRassel of The Sunday Service improv troupe from Vancouver BC. With their combined credits, Becky and Taz are experts in improv theatre and will be treating audiences to a night of diverse and heartfelt longform improvisation with a collaboration from Toronto-based technical and multimedia improviser Mark Andrada.

Free Info Session: Yukon Permanent Art Collection
Calling all Dawson artists and creatives! KIAC, SOVA, Yukon Government and Friends of the Yukon Permanent Art Collection (FOYPAC) are hosting an info session about the Yukon Permanent Art Collection: what it is, when are the deadlines, who’s it for, and how to apply! The presentation, hosted by local artists Veronica Verkley and Cari Tangedal, will be followed by a Q & A.
