Do you love meeting people and showing off our awesome community? You’ll help visiting artists feel welcome and cared for!

Assist with one-off events such as film screenings, musical concerts, performing arts events, and more. Welcome guests, take tickets, venue set-up, and sweeping.

Sell drinks and snacks to guests! Bonus: Bar volunteers often get $ tips!

Welcome visitors to our visual arts galleries on Saturday afternoons. Bonus: A comfortable and quiet space with unlimited wifi!

Provide home-made baked goods for events or cook a meal for our youth programs. KIAC can provide funds for ingredients.

Improve the Dënäkär Zho building and our spaces.

Build your social and digital media skills by snapping pics and videos at events! Bonus: Attend events for free while you document them!

Write an exhibition review, a community interview, an article for the paper, or other creative writing piece.

Pick things up in Whitehorse or help with transportation of artists and supplies in Dawson!

Help with film screenings, pierogi making, outdoor screenings and performances, concession/bar, and more!

Help with set-up/tear-down, transportation, merch or decoration making, art installation hosting, Artist Market KIAC Booth, workshop assistants and more! Committees meet throughout the year and are responsible for Gallery and artist-in-residence selections, planning events, and helping shape the direction of KIAC!

The Board of Directors is responsible for the vision, strategy, and financial health of the Dawson City Arts Society, operators of the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture. Board elections will take place at our AGM in July 2022.
