Cassidy is Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and a self-described,”born and raised Dawson girl.” A lifelong artist, she’s been enthusiastically supported by her family, in particular her uncle Graham Everitt and grandma Penny Schell, both artists and art lovers of multiple mediums. These two long standing influences taught Cassidy that any medium can work together with careful thought. She therefore specializes in combining painting with beading to create original artwork expressing lived experiences from the world around her.
