THE DAWSON CITY LEAGUE OF LADY WRESTLERS ARCHIVE PROJECT

A decade after the first ever match, the Dawson City League of Lady Wrestlers Archive Project maps out the impact the League had on the community and draws on the memories of fans and foes who participated in the DCLOLW’s wild events to tell its story.
Collected wrestlers’ ephemera (including organic matter), photographs, and never before seen film footage by Amy Siegel will be on view.
Soft opening on May 9th. In true DCLOLW fashion, the show will go out with a rumble (metaphorically) with a wrestler roundtable on Saturday, June 15 at 8pm, as part of Yukon Riverside Artsfest.
