Join local artist Veronica Verkley for a discussion on everything you’ve ever wondered about the Yukon Permanent Art Collection. See highlights from the collection and hear the stories behind the artwork. Find out about the collections history, where you can see the artwork on display, and how submitting your work will benefit you as an artist. Everyone is welcome – this session will include a Q&A and resources for preparing applications will be available.

Yukon Permanent Art Collection: The works purchased for the collection are selected by a volunteer organization, the Friends of the Yukon Permanent Art Collection. This non-profit society strives to ensure that the collection contains quality works suitable for a public collection, which are of relative importance and relevance to Yukon and are unique. http://www.foypac.ca/

Veronica Verkley: Veronica Verkley is a director on the board of the Friends of Yukon Permanent Art Collection society (FOYPAC). FOYPAC is a non-profit, charitable society whose mandate is to develop the Yukon Permanent Art Collection and encourage and promote Yukon visual art. They select works purchased for the collection each year and strive to ensure that the collection contains quality and unique works that are of relative importance and relevance to Yukon.
