Swingin’ country, jazz, and blues music for kids of all ages. Fresh original tunes like “Broccoli Farm”, “Don’t Whine” and “C-A-N-D-Y” are backed up by old family film favourites like “I Wanna Be Like You” and “Everybody Wants to be a Cat” – a rousing round of laughter, dress-up, and dance party madness. Claire was born and raised in Whitehorse, then studied comedy at Humber College in Toronto and circus arts instruction at École Nationale de Cirque in Montréal. She has taught ten years of circus camps for kids, and she loves to write, sing and teach in both English and French. Coming to KIAC this October 10, Claire is joined by one of her favourite people – Brigitte Desjardins – a firecracker percussionist you don’t want to miss.
“Definitely one of the colourful five percent.” – Jim Robb, Yukon Icon
