Every Summer, KIAC invites artists and collectives to partake in the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival; a weekend of interdisciplinary arts where community members and visitors can interact with and explore the creative work presented by local and regional artists across a wide range of mediums. The Festival takes place at Riverside Park and at many venues and historical sites throughout Dawson City from Thurs June 9 to Sun June 12, 2022.
YRAF showcases local and regional artists, artisans and performers in Dawson City, Yukon, offering activities and programming such as:
Scheduled performances and exhibits at various locations
🖌 Installations and interactive projects throughout Dawson
Hands-on artist demonstration tents
An Artist Market, were you can purchase handcrafted goods and art by local artisans
Kids Tent, with art related activities for youth
All-ages Live Music Stage
🖼 Gallery Hop, a self-directed art crawl evening to kick off the Festival on Thursday!
This year’s Dawson Daily News Print & Publishing Festival will also be taking place as part of the Yukon Riverside Arts Fest from June 9 – 12, featuring a series of events and workshops focusing on the literary arts.
