Local and regional artists are invited to work virtually with one of our mentors.

We have been missing the connections made between local and visiting artists pre-pandemic: discussions and perspectives shared; questions and inspirations provoked; collaborations…
Our artist-mentors have all been involved in the arts community in Dawson City, on Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin territory, by way of past ODD Gallery exhibitions and/or KIAC Artist Residencies at the Macaulay House. They are all excited to reconnect and to engage with our communities again!
We intend for this process and its outcomes to be mostly determined and directed by participants, but it would likely take the shape of a few virtual meetings with your mentor over the course of a month or 2. We invite you to consider what you are looking for from a mentor; to consult the info on our available mentors; and to propose who you would like to work with and why. Availability is limited. Mentors will review and approve proposals. Experience and outcomes will be reported on via photos, brief questionnaire or interview and shared as posts via KIAC’s social media channels.
