DESCRIPTION:The National Gallery of Canada will be visiting Dawson City on Sunday\, June 14th\, and is inviting expressions of interest from local artists interested in studio visits with one of their curators. \nThis is an unpaid opportunity intended to support Dawson-based artists and others with limited access to out-of-territory professional opportunities in sharing their work with a curator from the National Gallery of Canada. \nArtists must: \n\nBe available on Sunday\, June 14th\nBe located within driving distance of Dawson (Henderson Corner to Sunnydale)\nHave artwork ready and available for viewing\nBe able to host the visit within their own studio or workspace (KIAC spaces are unavailable)\n\nPlease note: this is an unpaid opportunity intended to create access for Dawson-based artists and others with limited opportunities to connect with national arts institutions outside the territory. \nTo express interest\, please email gallery@kiac.ca: \n\nYour expression of interest\nLocation of studio visit\nConfirmation of availability on June 14th\nMedium(s) of artwork\nAny samples of artwork available online (website\, social media\, photos\, etc.)\n\nDeadline: Monday\, June 1st\, 2026
