SUMMARY:Dawson City Honky Tonk Music Camp
DESCRIPTION:Dawson City Honky Tonk Music Camp is a three-day immersive Old Time\, Country & Bluegrass music camp. The camp will be held August 5-7 with workshops for beginners to intermediate musicians. There will be 3 periods of 3 workshops to choose from (9 total) every day from 2-6pm. Camp goers will have the choice of attending the same workshops every day or trying something new each day!  \nThe format of this camp is intended to create an inclusive space where everyone feels safe and welcome\, and where community and learning are at the heart of it all.  \nDawson City Honky Tonk Music Camp Registration and Payment:\nThere are two steps to register for the music camp. Step one is to fill out our google form to tell us more about yourself and what parts of the camp you are interested in. Step two is to pay for the package that works best for you! \n  \nStep one: Register for the festival here\nDawson City Honky Tonk Music Camp schedule\nStep Two: Pay for workshop packages here\nCosts:\n\n\n\n$350 – for music camp + food\n$200 – music camp (no food)\n$125 – single day rate + food\n$75 – single day rate (no food)\n\n\n\nFolks can attend any workshop they want\, and can change each day if they like. \nFood:\nIf you have chosen to opt for music camp + food\, lunch and dinner will be provided and served at the Anglican Church in town.\nLunch will be from 12:45-2pm\, and Dinner from 6:30-8pm\nNote your allergies or dietary restrictions in the registration form or email dawsoncityhonkytonk@gmail.com\n\n\n\nDawson City Honky Tonk Music Camp Camping/Accommodations:\nCamp sites at Gold Rush Campground have been reserved for campers. SUMMARY:Washi Paper Making Workshop with Ed FuChen Juan
DESCRIPTION:Come join visiting artist Edward FuChen Juan in learning the foundation of handmade washi papermaking. He will introduce the couching techniques of creating thin paper from abaca palm fibre. The paper is usable for drawing\, writing\, painting\, and dyeing. Each participant will be expected to create their own stack of washi paper. Paper will be hung-dried until the next day for self-pickup. This is a workshop in partnership programming with his solo exhibition at the ODD Gallery\, August 6 to September 19\, 2026. \nAll materials will be supplied\, but wear clothing you feel comfortable getting a little messy. \nThe $5 fee covers materials costs. \nThere is a limit of 8 people for this workshop\, so make sure you register and pay for this event to confirm your spot. \nStep one: Register for the workshop here\nStep Two: Pay for the workshop here
