DESCRIPTION:KIAC’s Artist-in-Residency Program is OPEN for New Applications 2025/26\nTr’ondëk Hwëch’in territory\, Dawson City\, Yukon\nDeadline: November 15\, 2024 at 11:59pm PST \nKlondike Institute of Art & Culture (KIAC) at Dënäkär Zho is now accepting proposals from visual artists and curators working in all media for the KIAC Artist in Residence Program. Submissions will be considered for the 2025/26 residency schedule. \n\nArtist in Residence Program\nThe KIAC Artist in Residence Program accommodates two artists concurrently – for research\, development and production of ongoing or new bodies of work. Residencies are from 4 – 12 weeks in duration from May 2025 through March 2026 (April is reserved for Short Film Festival residencies\, which is a separate application process). Artists are provided shared living facilities with individual studio space and bedroom at no cost. Participants are responsible for all travel and personal expenses including food and materials related to their work. \nThe Artist in Residence facilities are located in the Macaulay Residence. Built in 1901\, the home is now owned by Parks Canada as part of the Dawson Historical Complex National Historic Site. \nResidency Submission Guidelines Here \nNote: Fees are not provided nor charged for residencies. \nApplication Form Here \n\nAccessibility:\nKIAC is accessible by ramp (at back entrance) and has an elevator.
