Summer Programming Assistant

The Summer Programming Assistant works closely with KIAC programming staff under the direction of the Executive Director. This position will assist with the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival, Print and Publishing Symposium, youth art classes, the ODD and Confluence Galleries, special events and other community programming.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must meet the Canada Summer Jobs student requirements: be between the ages of 15 and 30 years old, have been a student in the preceding year and be returning to full time studies in the fall.
Interested candidates should have at least one year of post-secondary education, a background in the arts, excellent communication and organizational skills and knowledge of the community. Experience working with youth and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be assets.
